Richard Sserunjogi

Richard Sserunjogi is a data scientist affiliated with the African Center of Excellence (ACE) in Bioinformatics and Data-Intensive Sciences. He has extensive experience in the field and holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Makerere University. He is an assistant lecturer for the Big-Bio Data Analysis under the Bioinformatics graduate program at Makerere University. He also offers consultancy and has contributed to various data science and artificial intelligence research projects at ACE, including 1. SIDARISK(Data-driven HIV prevention among young adults in Uganda), 2. HEAL (AI for Health Equity: Transforming Pandemic Preparedness in Uganda), 3. COAST PROJECT (End-to-end AI and data systems for targeted surveillance and management of COVID-19 and future pandemics affecting Uganda)
