EPILEPSY SMART App funded by DUKE University – Jan-22 to Feb-23
The Epilepsy Self-Management And Resilience Technical (SMART) App is designed with support from Duke University to empower teenagers with epilepsy in Uganda. This app focuses on building resilience, combating stigma, and fostering community support. By addressing the emotional and social challenges faced by adolescents with epilepsy, the app aims to tackle misinformation and discrimination, ultimately improving social engagement and self-efficacy among these adolescents.
Overall, the Epilepsy SMART App offers a promising approach to empower adolescents with epilepsy in Uganda by addressing their social and emotional challenges.
