Dynamic 3D-visualization is increasingly becoming a critical component of multiple fields and endeavors. Whether it is learning, training, research, medical diagnostics, biomedical visualization, 3D-conferencing, psychotic treatment, and so on, everything is better done visually. Modern cutting edge visualization is backed by the right combination of evolutionary software and hardware.

The Virtual Reality (VR) lab at the African Center of Excellence (ACE) was set up to meet that need and is the only one of its kind in Uganda. With its GPU-backed workstations and access to a connected High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment, it provides unprecedented dynamic visualization and simulation capacity for different projects and needs in the country.
