We proudly announces the launch of the Upgraded ACE High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster, a state of the art 56-node computational platform designed to power cutting-edge research in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), human genomics, cancer, and artificial intelligence/machine learning.
The HPC cluster offers critical computational capacity for handling large-scale health data, enabling researchers across Africa to analyze complex datasets efficiently and securely. It supports advanced bioinformatics, data science research, immersive data visualization through virtual reality, and contributes significantly to training efforts through MSc and PhD programs, internships, and short courses in bioinformatics and data science.
This infrastructure marks a significant step forward in transforming health research on the continent, creating a robust platform for deploying specialized tools and fostering collaboration across African research institutions.
